This shell is the same web app, installable to the home screen as a PWA — full-screen, push notifications (yes, on iPhone), no app store gatekeeping between us and a bug fix. A native wrapper comes later only if store presence starts winning planner deals.

Day-of works offline

Ballroom wifi dies; the wedding doesn't. Run sheets, call times, photo groups, seating, and vendor contacts for the next 48 hours are cached on-device. Changes queue and sync when signal returns — with a visible badge, never silently.

Vendors, guests, and parents never install anything: one-tap confirms, RSVPs, and payment approvals stay browser links — the reason those flows have no logins in front of them.

Push, disciplined

Notifications follow the digest-first rules from the Notifications module — the only interrupts are the ladder's top rung: discrepancy flags, unconfirmed-vendor escalations, day-of changes.
